We’re back with some more wonderful content from Sainsbury’s Bank on preparing for a new cat!

Getting a cat — or any pet, for that matter — is a big decision. Scrap that, it’s a massive decision, as you’re signing up to take on responsibility for providing an animal with a safe, warm, loving environment for the next 15–20 years. It’s an immensely rewarding decision though, and one we’ve written about from our own perspective when we detailed the adoption process here. There are lots of things you can do to help a cat adjust to its new environment, and Sainsbury’s Bank have put together this fabulous guide on preparing for a new cat (see their previous post here), covering everything from different breeds to what you’ll need to make your new arrival feel right at home from day one.
